Radio Disney Comes to Downtown Chandler! November 30, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — inspirador @ 2:36 AM

Okay…this one is for the kids first!  Historic Downtown Chandler launches it’s annual Tumble Weed Tree Lighting Celebration in its biggest way ever!  Radio Disney will be launching this holiday tradition this year and there is no better place to welcome the holidays than Historic Downtown Chandler this Saturday for the best celebration in town!

The festivities kick off with an on-site, 90-minute broadcast with Radio Disney that includes games and entertainment from 4:30 to 6 p.m.    There will also be performances in A.J. Chandler Park, as well as activities for the children, such as a climbing wall.  Santa’s House will be open from 4:30 to 9 p.m., (except during the parade).   Look for the APS Parade of Lights to make its way down Arizona Avenue, beginning at  7 p.m. Then there’s the highlight of the evening–the 51st Annual Tumbleweed Tree Lighting at 8.

There ‘s also plenty of time to stroll around downtown Chandler, known for its unique, independently-owned restaurants and shops. The Hometown Holiday Lights will be aglow!    Please bring a non-perishable food item for the Chandler Christian Community Center Food Bank. There will be a table for drop-offs located next to the Starbucks at the Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort.

Simple Elegance! November 25, 2007

Filed under: Uncategorized — inspirador @ 6:19 AM

It was an evening of simple elegance and charm!  A white stretch hummer limo pulled up in front of Inspirador and delivered a stunningly good looking group from the wedding party of Andrea and Jason Crespo.  They were greeted by servers with silver trays of fine wine as they arrived at Tryst Art Gallery for a festive cocktail reception.   A group of 120 guests mingled amongst the famous art works of Michael Van Patten.  They later retreated to Symphony Hall under a ceiling of crystal candlesticks for a delicious meal (that we’ll blog about next because it was SO good!!).

Cicely from Life Design Event Planning http://www.lifedesignevents.com/ and her entourage of professionals pulled off an evening of simple elegance with style, grace and ease.  Impressive.  (side thought: We love it when brides choose to hire wedding professionals and forego the ballroom cookie-cutter options…it’s SO WORTH IT!!!)

Hip Wedding Photography http://www.hip-weddings.com/  and CineZona Films http://www.cinezonafilms.com/Home.html captured every moment for this bride and groom.  These guys will make your heart pitter-patter with every click…they did ours!

Well we are still adding finishing touches to Inspirador and preparing for our Grand Opening festitivities.  So, this is just the beginning of what is on the horizon.  Many CONGRATULATIONS Andrea and Jason.  May you live a long life of happiness together and many more celebrations!

For now, enjoy a few moments from an evening that we admired in the distance:

The article in the Phoenix New Times read: Freaking Portland!
http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2007-11-01/calendar/freaking-portland/full

It was a ONE NIGHT ONLY event exclusively at Inspirador for popular Phoenix based artist: Lisa Albinger.  She has a devoted following and a long list of admiring hip collectors.  We are sad to see her leave the desert for a more northern lifestyle but very happy that she has a bright new horizon ahead of her!

Over 100 original paintings, artist proof giclees and drawings were on show.  Even the very desk that was used by Lisa to create her master “q-tip” works of art.  While Lisa may have flown the valley nest she’s STILL an artist!  Don’t be shy her works are for sale (artist do like to eat you know 😉  Feel free to visit us or visit Lisa on line for more original art at www.lisaalbinger.com

Tryst Art Gallery Hosts 1st Art Exhibit! November 16, 2007

Tryst Art Gallery announces its first exhibit:Memories in Motion:
The art of Michael Van Patten www.michaelvanpatten.com

Do you recall a moment when a subtle scent conjured up images of a moment once forgotten.  Have you ever stood in a new space and felt as though you had been there once before?  No, not déjà vu! –Memories in Motion–.  Tryst Art Gallery introduces its inaugural solo exhibit with the works of Michael Van Patten.  Originally from Seattle, WA by way of New York City to now San Francisco, CA; Michael Van Patten has been on the collector’s radar for decades.  He is featured in the corporate collections of Ogilvy & Mathers Worldwide as well as private collections nationally and abroad. Something immediate, graphic, and organically familiar beckons the viewer to go beyond their identifications.  These are works that explore the unseen rhythms and nature of the body, the cellular memories and harmonies that lie just below the surface.  Whimsical, soothing and colorful, I create these works as a reminder of the natural flow and wisdom inherent in our bodies, not our minds. With an emphasis on nurturing, stillness and quiet repose these works can also serve as a mandala for the viewer to access their own revelatory journey.”   -Michael Van Patten-
